Involved in a number of active research projects in the molecular epidemiology of breast cancer and work actively with the Epidemiology department's cancer research group.

autism and neurodevelopmental disorders

One of my research interests is in autism and neurodevelopmental disorders. I direct the Johns Hopkins Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities Epidemiology whose mission is to advance knowledge on the population distribution and determinants of autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities through establishment of surveillance systems, participation in a collaborative, multi-centered case-control study, and conduct of innovative, Center-specific research.
