Objectives

The intents of the Early Detection Research Network.

The objectives of EDRN include:

  • Development and testing of promising biomarkers or technologies for early detection of cancer
  • Evaluation of promising, analytically proven biomarkers or technologies
  • Collaboration among academic and industrial leaders in molecular biology, molecular genetics, clinical oncology, computer science, public health and clinical application for early cancer detection
  • Collaboration and rapid dissemination of information among awardees
EDRN Founder Honored

Dr. Sudhir Srivastava was honored with the Distinguished Service Award from the American Pancreatic Association at the group's annual meeting this year, for his outstanding commitment to pancreatology.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the successful and productive EDRN Orientation Meeting in October. The next EDRN Steering Committee Meeting will take place in March 6-9, 2017 in Tempe, AZ. More information about this meeting will be available soon.
